Giving back to the communities that make us great.
At Fergus & Bix, we believe it’s the communities we’re in that makes us great. Because of that, we understand the importance for us to give back and to be actively involved in the communities in which we operate. In 2010 we developed “The Charity Tap” program to do just that. With every sale of our feature beer, we take 50¢ and donate it towards a select local charity or community initiative. Since the program’s inception, the Fergus & Bix group of restaurants has contributed over $50,000 towards worthy causes.

Canmore
The Canmore & Area Mountain Bike Association
The Canmore & Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA) is a volunteer-driven non-profit that builds and maintains sustainable mountain bike trails in Canmore and the Bow Valley. CAMBA fosters a vibrant biking community through trail stewardship, youth and skills programming, and public events that celebrate outdoor recreation. With support from members, partners, and local businesses, CAMBA enhances access to world-class trails while promoting safety, inclusivity, and environmental responsibility.
West Srpings
Between Friends
Between Friends is a Calgary-based charitable organization dedicated to empowering children, youth, and adults with disabilities by offering year‑round social, recreational, and developmental programming. Programs include weekend and evening activities, inclusive summer camps (Camp Bonaventure and Camp Fun’zAmust), adult adventure programs (“Adventurers”), and community integration through I.C.A.N! partnerships with local recreation providers. Through subsidized access, inclusive training, and engaging events, Between Friends helps participants connect, grow, and belong—fostering friendships, confidence, and inclusion across the community.
